This policy explains how Quran Chat (quran.solutions), provided by Watsio, handles your data when you use the website or chat with us on WhatsApp.
Data we handle
- Conversation content: the questions you send and the answers you receive.
- WhatsApp number: if you use the service on WhatsApp, we receive your number and profile name, as this is required to deliver replies to you.
- Technical data: such as browser and device type and aggregate visit statistics, used to measure and improve the website.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and continue the conversation with you.
- To improve answer quality and service performance.
- To protect the service from abuse.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We rely on technical service providers to run the service, such as the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta), our hosting provider, and the Watsio platform that runs the service. They process data only as needed to provide the service.
No answer is written by AI; every text is quoted word for word from tafsir books. Your question’s text may be sent to an AI provider only to understand what you mean, and WhatsApp voice notes are turned into text the same way. Your name and number are not sent with it.
Retention
We keep conversations for as long as needed to provide and improve the service, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You can ask to access or delete your data at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in the chat.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
