Surah Maryam, verse 36: meaning and tafsir
وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ ٣٦
[Jesus said], “Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path.”

36. And Allah, may He be glorified, is both my Lord and your Lord, so make worship sincere for Him alone. This which I have mentioned to you is the straight path that leads to the pleasure of Allah.
