Surah Az-Zumar, verse 54: meaning and tafsir
وَأَنِيبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ ٥٤
Turn to your Lord [in repentance] and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you, for then you will not be helped.

54. Return to your Lord by repentance and righteous actions and submit to Him, before the punishment comes to you on the day of resurrection. Then you will not find anyone from your idols and families to help you by rescuing you from the punishment.
