Hadith on its virtue

Meaning: “Have you not seen verses revealed tonight, the like of which has never been seen? ‘Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak’ and ‘Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.’”

Sahih Muslim 814

Meaning: Every night when the Prophet ﷺ went to bed, he would cup his hands, blow into them and recite Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas, then wipe over as much of his body as he could, beginning with his head, face and the front of his body. He did this three times.

Sahih al-Bukhari 5017

Meaning: And he ﷺ said of Al-Ikhlas: “By Him in whose hand is my soul, it is equal to a third of the Quran.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 5013
